 A very popular combination of merino wool and first-class acrylic. Extremely fine merino wool is obtained from domestic sheep bearing the same name. Its softness is a crucial argument, the fiber is less than 18 microns and therefore should not scratch or bite, as is expected with wool, although if the yarn was made only of merino fiber, it could be uncomfortable for very sensitive individuals. That´s why the manufacturer added premium acrylic to it, which makes it more pleasant, creating an interesting combination of materials that take the best out of themselves. Merino provides thermoregulatory and antibacterial properties and acrylic has a positive effect on the resistance and durability of yarn colors and wear. It is suitable for the creation of warmer clothes and accessories, including children´s, but also for the production of pillows or warm blankets. This yarn is certified for children under 3 years of age.
